Cloudprinter.com celebrates the successful completion of an internship program with Fontys University students, showcasing the practical application of Print API improvements aligned with customer needs.
At Cloudprinter.com, we believe that practical experience and education are essential for advancing the Print API industry. Over the past three months, we hosted an internship program for five talented students from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
The primary goal of this initiative was to enable students to undertake a project focused on potential Print API platform improvements that better align with customer needs and desires. Our dedicated team - Martijn Eier (CEO), Marta Stetsko (Managing Director), and Nataliya Yarka (Head of the Print & Product Department) - has guided the interns through every aspect of the Print API platform ecosystem, global Print-on-Demand trends, and the application of their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.
To enhance the interns' experience and demonstrate the vastness of the print industry behind APIs and technologies, we arranged a one-day tour at Drupa. This event provided a valuable opportunity for the students to meet our team and partners face-to-face.
At the end of the internship, the students presented their project, titled “The Voice of the Customer,” at Fontys University.
Marta Stetsko was honoured to attend their presentation to gain final insights into their studies:
Collaborating with Fontys University of Applied Sciences through their internship program has been incredibly rewarding. The dedication shown by the students as they explored the needs of our Cloudprinter.com customers was impressive. They managed to seamlessly blend classroom theory with real-world application, providing us with valuable insights. We eagerly anticipate more projects like this in the future.
Nataliya Yarka, who has mentored the Fontys students throughout the project:
Over the past three months, we had an amazing time brainstorming and researching. We developed a survey, interviewed our customers, and thanks to our awesome interns, gained fresh insights into our processes. Definitely, this project was useful for our company and hopefully gave Fontys University students some practical experience too.
Cloudprinter.com congratulates our interns Jeffrey Du, Joost van Hoesel, Bas van der Klaauw, Marit Lodema, and Ruben Meeuwis on their successful presentation!
We are confident in your promising future in the industry!
